I tend not to rank things, preferring to let users come to their own conclusions about service, quality, cleanliness, and so forth. But when it comes to the Bloody Marys mixed, stirred, and served up at the TroutHunter on the Henry’s Fork in Last Chance, Idaho, I’ll gladly make an exception. Let it be known: they are good.
In case you have too many of them–which is to say, more than one–be aware that the TroutHunter also has accommodations available, as well as the Last Chance Bar & Grill, serving all three meals of the day during fishing season–when, as the enterprise’s name would suggest, they also provide guide service on the Henry’s Fork and other area waters. (A two-night minimum stay in the lodge is required for those not booking a flyfishing trip with the guides.)
Come winter, the greater Island Park area is one of the most popular snowmobiling destinations in the United States.
