Attached to the Empty Bottle, Chicago’s premier (and bargain-priced) indie music venue, Bite provides a big helping of slacker-hipness for reasonable prices. Join the hoodied rockers reading their iPhones and eating pork hash for breakfast, black bean burgers for lunch or coq au vin for dinner. Vegetarians have lots of options, as about a third of the menu is meat-free. The small room is industrial-chic, with groovy artwork hanging from the exposed brick walls.
Up until 8:30pm, you can bring booze over from the Bottle to go with
meals (or ask your server for help with the matter). You can also BYO with no corkage fee.
