One of London’s best breakfast spots, Baker and Spice is tucked away amid the most gentile of Chelsea streets. The café has evolved from a small bakery to a bustling all-day dining spot but it’s still best for breakfast when you can choose a pastry from the glass case or enjoy a fuller hot meal with eggs and toast. At lunchtime, sandwiches made from the bakery’s artisan breads or cooked meals are available.
The large refectory table is often shared by office workers, yummy mummies and glam 20 somethings. Everyone loves it here.
It’s convenient for shopping along King’s Road, Sloane Avenue and reasonably close to South Kensington museums.
