Rent an audio guide from the tourist office
and take yourself on a walking tour of the city.
The tours are available in several languages, including English, and run for
1.5 hours. You can stop the commentary any time you need a break and keep the
player for up to 3 hours.
A printed brochure lays out 15 marked sites on a street map, so you can follow
along as the readers spoon feed facts and bits of history into your ear.
You’ll be asked to leave a € 100 deposit for the headset, which is refunded
when you return the equipment.
If you have a Strasbourg Pass, you’ll get about a 50% discount on the rental
fee.
