In 2008, David & Khun Pariya transformed this villa, which has been in her family for decades, into a luxurious yet cozy hotel. Modernist details join a classic Thai structure in the design of the main building, and the new wings subtly blend with the original.
Lush tropical trees and plants embrace it all – the pool, with its crackly, shiny blue tiles; the spa with its open-air massage deck on the top; the dining room in the main house, which is home to vegetarian restaurant Na Aroon; and the rooms, of course, with dark wood floors and antiques from the region. There are four room sizes, from Studio to Executive Suite.
AriyasomVilla is gorgeous, welcoming, and family-friendly, too. Their leafy grounds are a short walk from the BTS station. For all of these reasons, as well as the vegetarian eats on site that people rave about, the place is often booked, so reserve early if you want to stay here.
