The busiest place at CityCenter, this casino resort wows you before you even walk inside. Aria’s shimmering silver high-rise, with ubiquitous water features and mood lighting, is more chic than the hurly-burly Strip just outside its doors. Everything is just a bit more exotic here, such as the Japanese-style salt therapy room in the spa or luxe Crystals shopping mall next door. Cirque du Soleil performs almost nightly here in the acrobatic show Zarkana.

A-list chefs gambling on ventures here include hot spot Carbone, Michael Mina’s Bardot Brasserie, Jean Georges Steakhouse, Shawn McClain’s farm-to-table restaurant Sage and Five50 Pizza Bar, and colorful Julian Serrano, an eclectic Spanish tapas bar. Jean-Phillipe Patisserie sells sweet endings and breakfast pastries, although only JP’s original Bellagio sweet shop features the world’s largest chocolate fountain. Aria’s buffet ain’t half bad, and neither is Lemongrass restaurant for standard Thai cooking.

A free tram connects CityCenter with the Bellagio and Monte Carlo casino hotels.

Tip: For hotel guests, Aria’s corner suites have extremely cool views.
