Fine north Indian food in a memorably kitsch setting

This quaint little jewel-box of a restaurant looks like it’s been airlifted straight out of a maharaja’s palace – a bit of a surprise, given its location on the first floor of the functional Sheraton Four Points hotel. There’s a good range of traditional north Indian fare on offer, including tandooris, kebabs and birianis, while the resident Indian band provide an enjoyable soundtrack, accompanied by a couple of dancers twirling around in colourful saris – all good fun, and great for a noisy night out, although perhaps not the best place for a romantic tete-a-tete.
