If you are looking for one must-stop destination on the Cape, head to ABBA in Orleans. Luring foodies from Provincetown and beyond, chef-owner Erez Pinhas and his partner Christina Bratberg transformed this part of the Cape’s dining scene in 2001. Lucky for us, ABBA still lives up to the hype.
Settle in on a pillowed booth or take a seat at the tiled bar and delight in the sophistication without the attitude. Wine flows freely as does the sublime Thai-infused Mediterranean cuisine, which delightfully changes with the season. Take advantage of the abundance of seafood and order up the perfectly executed lobster pad Thai or the pan-seared bay scallops with mushroom ravioli and spinach smothered in a Parmesan sauce. Vegetarians and meat lovers will both be satisfied.
Save room for dessert, which sings the pastry chef’s talents with fresh fruit, sugar, cream and other non-bikini friendly (but oh-so-good) additives.
