This itinerary starts in Aviemore and works its way out of the Highlands and into the rolling agricultural whisky country of Speyside. It then travels up to Findhorn on of a number of pretty fishing villages with sandy beaches on the Moray coast.

Stop in at the busy Mountain Cafe and find out why you often have to wait for a seat; be sure to pick up cakes for later on.
Travel northwest up Speyside, a valley famous for its whisky distilleries. Tour one such as Glenlivet or Macallan or Glenfiddich, then do the scenic drive up to the attractive Moray coast and the village of Findhorn, to investigate it’s New Age community and stroll on its long sandy beach looking for basking seals.
