Water and land adventures for active travelers in Puerto Vallarta

For those who can’t sit still too long, there are many active adventures to be had in Puerto Vallarta. There is only so long you can lie on a beach before the urge to do something active strikes.

Try out hang gliding, or parasailing or flyboots to liven up a day at the beach. There are also banana boat rides. You can rent stand-up paddleboards or surfboards too. Deep sea fishing is another attraction that offers some active thrills.

Several companies offer cruises that include snorkling and diving. When you’re tired of the water stuff, there are zipline courses to try, a jungle canopy tour, or horseback riding in the jungle or along the beach.

There are walking tours of the city and hiking excursions that will keep you moving.
