Planning a dirty weekend getaway in Las Vegas for your favorite bachelor or bachelorette? Here are all of our best ideas for having the weekend of a lifetime in Sin City with all your friends.
Tip: It’s never too early to start making reservations, whether that’s for a sweet hotel suite, a table at a hot restaurant, VIP bottle service at a nightclub, or special daytime indulgences, anything from going skydiving to deluxe treatments at a casino hotel spa.
Off the Strip, the Palms and the Hard Rock casino hotels are both known for their party atmosphere and fantasy suites. Whether you want stripper poles, a private bowling alley, a Strip-view plunge pool, or erotic luxury, these hotels can supply it. Of course, you’ll pay a lot, but isn’t it worth it? For better-value suites, take a look at Elara next to Planet Hollywood in the middle of the Strip or Rumor, east of the Strip near the Hard Rock.
Keep things classy by dining at a steakhouse with a trendy vibe, like N9NE at the Palms, Bazaar Meat by José Andrés at SLS, Brand Steakhouse at the Monte Carlo, STK at the Cosmopolitan, or Strip House at Planet Hollywood. Wherever you pick, make reservations in advance and expect an automatic gratuity of 18% or more to apply for groups of six people or more.
Save time, skip the longer lines (though you may still have to wait a while to get into the club), and avoid any hassles with being turned away at the door by booking ahead for a bottle service at a nightclub. This is especially key for groups of guys, who have almost no chance of getting into a club normally if you don’t have any ladies in your party. Expect to pay at least $350 per bottle, with a two-bottle minimum and tipping expected. For the most popular clubs like XS, Marquee, Drai’s, Surrender, Hyde, or Omnia, make bottle service reservations as far in advance as you can.
Give your group enough options for fun stuff to do, both at night and during the day.
If the weather is sizzling, hit one of Vegas’ hot pool clubs. Love to gamble? Get everyone to buy in to a poker tournament. Book a spa day (Qua Baths & Spa at Caesars Palace even has a Men’s Zone with sports on TV and barber services). Bachelorettes, check out the party packages for Stripper 101 classes at Planet Hollywood. Off the Strip, blow off some steam at the Gun Store or Machine Guns Vegas, or do something even more extreme like driving a race car at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
At night, Sin City really lives up to its reputation. For bachelorettes, the most popular all-male revues are the Chippendales at the Rio, Thunder from Down Under at Excalibur, and the Aussie Hunks at Planet Hollywood. If it’s strippers of either sex you’re after, check out Sapphire. Most strip clubs in Vegas tempt bachelor parties by offering free one-way limo rides, including to the highly rated Spearmint Rhino.
