Writer and translator Kiki Anderson first arrived in Bangkok ten years ago. Since then, she has been exploring the city, devouring a dazzling variety of street food, shopping at myriad markets, visiting stunning monuments, and relaxing in tucked-away gardens.
In addition to translating for French publishing houses and writing poetry and travel pieces, Kiki has taught French, design history, and academic writing. She has traveled throughout Southeast Asia, and she and her husband have taken a few bike trips through France and Spain.
You asked...we answered!
What's your favorite mode of transportation? Why?
Biking is definitely the best way to travel in my book. Being outdoors and moving around thanks to your own muscles feels great. Sometimes it’s so rough you have to scream, but what other form of transportation does that?
