Except for five years in western New York, Elizabeth Granger has called the Midwest home. She was born in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, raised on Minnesota’s Iron Range, lived for short stints in Wisconsin and Illinois, and now, for more than half her life, has called Indiana home. She’s been a freelance travel writer for 30 years, traveling and writing while she was also a high school journalism teacher and adviser to an award-winning student newspaper. In the beginning, she always wanted to move to the places she’d visit. She got over that, but continues to explore the world’s wonders and loves to share them with others.
